Copay & Preventive Side

Fixed Copays. PHCS Network.

For everyday care — doctor visits, urgent care, labs, and preventive services — your bundle includes fixed-dollar copays through the PHCS provider network. Show up, pay your copay, and go. No claim to file, no reimbursement to wait for.

Fixed copays for primary care & specialist visits
24/7 Lyric telemedicine — $0 per visit
Prescription savings included
PHCS network — one of the largest in the US
Preventive care covered at no additional cost

Not limited to the network

You can see any provider willing to accept payment. Reimbursement for out-of-network copay visits is eligible via the secure upload tool in the MightyWELL app — typically a 7–10 day turnaround.

California & Hawaii

Members in CA and HI access the PRIME Health PPO network instead of PHCS. Coverage works the same way — fixed copays, same benefits.

Health Share Side

Cash Price First. Then Share.

For larger medical events — hospital stays, surgeries, or other eligible needs — you become a self-pay patient. Get the provider's cash price, submit the reduced bill, and after your Unshared Amount is met, eligible expenses may be shared by the community.

Cash/self-pay pricing — often far below insurance rates
Submit itemized bill to the health share for review
UA applies first, then eligible amounts may be shared
Community-based sharing — not traditional insurance

Provider networks don't apply

For health share events, you can see any provider willing to work with self-pay patients — you're not limited to a network.

Deep Dive

How the health share side works — step by step

The Process

5 Steps to Getting Your Bill Shared

1

You Receive Care

You get the medical care you need — such as a hospital stay, surgery, or other potentially shareable event.

2

Request the Self-Pay Price

Ask the provider for an itemized bill showing the self-pay/cash rate for your services. This is often much lower than the insurance-billed amount.

3

Submit the Bill to the Health Share

Submit the reduced self-pay bill, along with any required documentation, to the health share for review according to the member guidelines.

4

Your UA Applies

You are responsible for your applicable Unshared Amount (UA) for an eligible sharing event.

5

Eligible Expenses Can Be Shared

Once your UA is met, amounts determined eligible under the member guidelines may be shared by the health-sharing community.

Here's an Example

Actual numbers will vary based on provider, service, and location.

Original Hospital Bill

$42,000

The insurance-billed amount from the provider.

Self-Pay (Cash) Price

$12,500

You request the self-pay price from the provider.

Your UA (Unshared Amount)

$2,500

You pay your UA for eligible expenses.

Remaining Eligible Amount May Be Shared

$10,000

After your UA is met, the remaining eligible amount may be shared according to the member guidelines.

Good to Know

Self-pay pricing is often significantly lower than insurance-billed rates.
Always request an itemized self-pay quote.
Not every medical expense is eligible for sharing.
Please review the member guidelines for details on what is and isn't eligible.

This Is Not Traditional Health Insurance.

Health sharing is a membership-based arrangement in which eligible medical expenses are shared according to the program's member guidelines. Applicable limitations, exclusions, and Unshared Amounts (UA) apply.
